I would highly recommend BuilderWell for backyard/ pool / home improvements.. Alan and his team are exceptional!  My wife and I took a leap of faith and we were not disappointed.  This day and age it is hard to trust anyone in the construction industry. The supply chain really set many of our friends and family back. Some started projects before us and are far from completion.

Alan and his team were on point! Even with the monsoon rains we completed our Oasis on time.  Oasis I say… our dream backyard and pool became a reality!

We picked Builderwell after looking at testimonials online and we had some conversations with Alan and everybody just seemed to be so friendly and all the testimonials had been fantastic. The design team was wonderful when we met with them and so for us, Builderwell has been a fantastic experience for us from A-Z. They did an amazing job with the home!

I would definitely recommend Builderwell to all our family and friends. The entire team was just fantastic to work with starting from Alan all the way down to the entire team and the design team as well. We had an amazing experience working with everybody and Builderwell absolutely got all the details correct and did the job better than we could have ever expected!

Overall, we've been so pleased with everything that's been done. Builderwell has been exceptional in all our little asks and details and modifications. For us, we have been extremely pleased with everybody and we would recommend Builderwell to all our family and friends, and we would use Builderwell again.

Having an entire team to support me from design to the contracting to all the different parts and moving pieces - it felt like one cohesive unit and that made it a lot easier for me the whole way. I love the communication there was a ton of clear communication the way. If anything happened at the house I got an update about it, tons of pictures just confirming that things were exactly how I wanted them. And it made it all really smooth. I think in general how smooth things went and how open and clear communication was whether it was about things costing more money or just needing to change things. I'm pleasantly surprised by how smooth everything went. I'm really happy with how everything turned out, couldn't be happier!

I hired Builderwell for a remodel of both bathrooms in my home in late 2021 (completed earlier this year). The hall bathroom was a more simple job - simply replacing everything inside and updating it to be more modern. The master bathroom involved expanding the shower, raising the floor of the shower (previously you needed to step down into it which was weird and felt unsafe), moving the toilet to the opposite side of the room, moving the bathroom door, and creating a closet where the old hallway to the bathroom was. We knew it was going to be a bit hectic since we planned to stay in the house for the duration of the job.

First, working with Negin, our designer, was great. I really enjoyed talking to her and the process of discussing together what tile, vanity, lights, etc we were going to use and we were delighted by the final designs. The project was also able to start much sooner than I'd anticipated! I am over the moon about the final product. The master bathroom especially brings me so much joy every day. If only child / teenager me could see me now, saying how happy a bathroom is making me! It's true though - the shower is an absolute delight and the design is a HUGE improvement over the original, from adding a second sink, to increasing the size of the shower, to adding a whole new closet for the bedroom. Staying in the house during the remodel was challenging, but necessary since we didn't have another place we could stay for such a long duration. The different teams that came in to do work for us were all really respectful of our space.

One anecdote which started as a negative experience (but was not Builderwell's fault) is that we had a lot of materials delivered to the house for the project, and even though we were home, items were just dropped off in our driveway without anyone speaking to us. At one point, a pallet of tiles was placed on the side of the road / next to our driveway, behind our car and nearly blocking us in. The tiles were way too heavy to move by ourselves and we were really concerned about someone hitting them, and I wasn't sure how I could contact Floor & Decor (who delivered it) because I hadn't placed the actual order. However, Builderwell helped us out and ended up having some guys come to move everything to our garage after a few days.

If I were to hire them again (we have no big remodeling plans right now) I would make sure to get my spouse added to the text chain from the beginning so all decision-making adults in the household were on it - it was sometimes challenging to be the main point of contact with the Builderwell team when my husband had questions because I had to be the one to facilitate it all. Overall, Builderwell was great. We are very pleased with the final outcome, and while we don't have any remodeling plans right now, we would definitely consider hiring Builderwell again in the future.

We hired Builderwell to do a complete demo and remodel on our downstairs. It ended up also including an upstairs bathroom and hallway. Everyone involved was kind and they listened to our requests. Kian, our project manager was always responsive & had a great attitude. We needed extensive electrical work & Majid the electrician was there every day until the job was done. He was also always kind and responsive to us & very nice to our boys. Benito and his assistant did excellent work on the extensive amount of tile work we needed ( floors, backsplash, shower & mosaic tile in several areas)  and are also very polite & hard working. The boys and I also really liked Alex the painter. He's fun & did a great job. Almas was lovely to work with. She had great color ideas and solutions & she really helped us stay focused on choosing materials. We also really appreciated that she would give her opinion but she was never condescending or judgmental (I've worked with designers like that).

We just want to say thank you to you and Alan & to congratulate you on having such a great, kind & professional team.

The team from Builderwell showed up everyday (sometimes 7 days a week) and would worked late into the evenings. Our home turned out more beautiful than we could have imagined & pretty much on time (especially since we added on a lot of projects along the way). Everyone was lovely to work with.

We recently had a pleasure of having the crew from BuilderWell work on our front patio of our new home. From start to finish Alan and his crew were very accommodating with our requests and thorough with their work every step of the way. Pros: Quick turnaround time

Cons: None that I can think ofBuilderwell already worked on the upstairs and downstairs of my house remodel. Figured I'd give it two more goes with a backyard and garage remodel too.

For the backyard, we actually were working with another company that specialized in backyard landscaping and design, but they were taking too long to start the project. I reached out to Alan and Builderwell and they were able to take an initial design and start within a week or two. The team worked relatively quickly and were done in about two months. The backyard consisted of a demolition of existing backyard, concrete, custom BBQ with gas line, artificial turf, and some basic irrigation.

For our garage, we just needed some fresh paint, epoxy floors, and cleaning up some electricity. That only took two weeks.

Like any other contractor, sometimes things come up, but Alan, Marcos, and Builderwell always make sure to accommodate and the end product is great!

The team at Builderwell really deliver a polished professional service. They are really responsive, respectful and masters of their trade. While they are not going to be the most affordable bid, their work is incredibly high quality and their estimate is on target for more realistic expectations. If you're looking for a premiere, high end experience I would strongly encourage going to BuilderWell!

Everyone at Builderwell that we spoke with and met were fantastic! They were all professional, kind, patient and extremely responsive. Their pricing is fair and most importantly, they were honest and straightforward with us.

I interviewed several companies to perform a kitchen and master bathroom remodel of our four bedroom luxury rental property in Newport Coast.  Mahroo helped with the initial planning which included a 3-D overview of the entire unit.  We then selected the custom cabinets, quartz countertops, backsplash as well as the tile and grout for the bathroom.  BuilderWell works well with various venders to design the cabinets and also provide the appliences, faucets, cabinet pulls, etc. all of which went smoothly.  Marcos was the project manager and all the floors and rooms were protected until the entire project was completed.  They accommodated several of my special requests and everything looks fantastic and was completed by the promised date.  I would definitely use BuilderWell for any future projects and entire experience was pleasant and stress free!

Working with Builderwell was absolutely amazing. I’m glad I randomly stumbled upon their Instagram page and chose to give them a call because their professionalism and workmanship is second to none! It’s truly amazing how simple and easy the process was working with them compared to other contractors I had in mind. I will never hesitate to work with them again for home in Newport Beach. Just want to give a big thank you to Alan and his fantastic team for such a wonderful experience. I would give these guys 6 stars if I could!!
